It was the spring of 2021 when our paths first crossed. From the very beginning, conversation flowed effortlessly. We quickly realized we shared more than just good chemistry—we had a deep love for sports, a passion for working with kids, and a shared enthusiasm for coaching.

Many of our first dates weren’t the typical dinner-and-a-movie kind. Instead, we found ourselves on the golf course or at the driving range, laughing at our swings (some more than others). Lucky for Kari, Nick didn’t judge her too harshly in the beginning—though he may have had his doubts about her golfing skills.

But it wasn’t just about sports. Whether it was supporting each other's professional achievements, competing in friendly games, or simply spending time doing what we loved, we built something special from the start.

Fast forward four years, and not much has changed—except everything has. We still love coaching and supporting each other, and we’re lucky enough to do it at the same school. When we’re not on the court, you can find us enjoying our favorite restaurants, spending time with friends, or taking our two dogs, Precious and Eddy, on adventures.

Now, as we step into this next chapter as husband and wife, we look forward to continuing doing what we love—together.
